Five day Adventure Photography Program – Livno 2026
April 20–24 & October 26–30
Five-Day Adventure Photography Program – Livno 2026
In this five-day adventure photography program, I will take you to the most beautiful locations of my home region. Alongside the unforgettable wild horses, I will show you how to create powerful photographs that tell a story, evoke emotion, and carry a clear message.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced photographer, during this workshop I will share everything I know about photography. Throughout the entire program, we will be surrounded by adventure, nature, and great company—participants come from all over the world, and we will all be staying at the Continental Adventure Resort.
Do you photograph with a smartphone or a professional camera? It doesn’t matter at all. Real photographs are created through your way of thinking, feeling, and observing the world—the camera is just a tool. That is exactly what we will focus on the most.

Who is this program for?
Your level of experience doesn’t matter—I adapt to each participant individually.
My goal is for you to learn something new, develop your own style, and photograph some of the most beautiful locations in this part of Europe.
I often say that photography is a combination of what is around you and what is within you. The camera is just a tool that helps turn your vision into a real image.
Application
The number of participants is limited to 10 photographers.
To apply, please send the following to marin@continentaladventure.net:
- A short description of your photography experience
- A selection of 10 of your best photographs
This helps me prepare for individual work with each participant.
More about me...
My name is Marin Mamuza, and I will be your guide and mentor during this workshop. I was born and raised in Livno, in a family where my father was a photographer and videographer, so the camera was literally part of my life from the very beginning.
I entered the professional photography world through weddings—it was a family business, and already in elementary school I began helping my father, later photographing weddings independently. That period shaped me the most as a photographer. Weddings are challenging, full of unpredictable moments and strong emotions, and the combination of documentary and directed photography helped me develop a recognizable style. Still, my favorite images have always been weddings photographed in nature, where couples blend into the landscape.
Nature and landscape photography have always been where I feel most at home—the peace, waiting for the light, searching for composition, and that moment when everything finally “clicks” through the lens… that experience is what keeps me in photography to this day.
Many people today say that artificial intelligence will take over photography. It will certainly influence the commercial side of the industry, but there is something AI will never be able to take from us: the joy of the process. That feeling of going into nature, exploring, searching for a frame, waiting for perfect light—that is the essence of photography. It lives in us, not in algorithms.
The most important day of my photographic career was December 10, 2012, when I took my first photograph of wild horses. They became my greatest inspiration. Wild horses fascinate me with their duality—one moment incredibly gentle, the next in the middle of a powerful fight. That blend of raw energy and deep calm drew me in, and I began spending more and more time with them, in their presence.
That’s when the idea was born to use my photography to bring people to Livno, to my region that truly has so much to offer. I started sharing photographs of wild horses and the Livno landscape, and soon the first visitors began reaching out, wanting to see the places I was photographing. Photography gradually led me into tourism.
In 2019, I founded Continental Adventure and officially entered the tourism world. We began bringing our first guests on wild horse safaris, and later started building our own accommodation facilities—today known as the Continental Adventure Resort.
Today, most of my time is dedicated to my role as director of Continental Adventure, but film and photography remain my primary calling and greatest passion. I have behind me several solo and group exhibitions, two feature-length fiction films as producer and director, and a large number of short films, music videos, and commercial projects created for clients across the region.
Still, my greatest fulfillment comes from photographing nature and wild horses—an experience that inspires me the most and that I want to share with you. I hope to be a good host in my hometown and that together we will create photographs that truly tell a story.
At the end, I also leave you with a short gallery from my portfolio—it is diverse, ranging from weddings, street photography, and nude art, to my favorite subjects of all: wild horses.
